What is Lucid Dreaming ?

Dreams are one of the least understood phenomenons.But psychologists are aware of the potent healing energies associated with dreaming.But realizing and controlling the dreams,they can be tamed to our benefits.Lucid Dreaming is one such technique of dream control.

Benefits of Lucid Dreaming:

  • Access to the enormous energy of the sub-conscious mind.
  • Feeling of well-being and cheerful nature are experienced.
  • Concentration and Mental agility are increased.
  • The composure of the mind is enhanced.
  • It is major stress buster.

The Mechanism of Lucid Dreaming:

  • The mind at a given point of time exists in any one of the mental states.
  • The sub-conscious mind is activated keeping the conscious mind asleep.
  • This is done with the help of the Binaural Beats.
  • These beats are musical recordings available in the form of CDs.
  • They lower the brain frequencies bringing the mind closer to tranquil states quickly.

The Technique of Lucid Dreaming:

  • It is best to practice this technique before going to bed.
  • Choose a peaceful place.
  • Lay down and relax.Breathe slowly.
  • Obesrve the breathing pattern.When the breathing patterns are steady,we can start the technique.
  • Wear the head phones and make sure the volume of the Binaural beats is set right.
  • One should hear the beats clearly.Try to focus on the sounds.
  • Allow the feelings within to evolve unrestricted.
  • Try to observe the feelings without indulging with them.You should flow along with the feelings.
  • You will fall asleep but being conscious of it.Soon the state of dreaming commences.

The technique is to be practiced with faith and patience.Along with time,the non-essential thoughts get subseded and the mind reaches the tranquiled state faster.
