Very often we carry our stress, tensions, and worries to bed. This prevents us from falling asleep. However, this problem can be solved through Meditation, as it helps you achieve a relaxed state and focuses your mind on peace and harmony.

There are various types of meditations which prove to be very useful in the cure of Insomnia. Here is a simple technique which can prove very effective in the cure of Insomnia

Find a focal point – something about which you can think and on which you can focus your full attention. This will be very useful during meditation.

Here are some examples of objects which can be your focal point.

  • A candle
  • A mantra (a phrase that you repeat over and over in your mind to establish harmony and to focus on your meditation)
  • A stone
  • Something as simple as the sound of your own breathing.

No matter what you use as your focal point, continuously and firmly bring your mind back to that focal point. This is because the mind has a tendency to wander away easily but with continuous practice this phenomenon can be controlled

All other thoughts and distractions that drift through your mind must be pushed out.

Begin the meditation before going to bed. Ward away disturbing and stress free thoughts.
As you meditate feel the energy flowing through.

Think of something positive and soothing.

As you continue to practice your meditation nightly you will find that the process becomes easier and easier.

You may find that meditating for ten to fifteen minutes before bedtime will help you fall asleep naturally.

So start meditating and catch up on all the lost sleep.

Sleep like a baby with the help of meditation.
